FleishmanHillard has been appointed by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd as the PR agency to deliver media relations and communications services for their new brand, Hotel Jen in Asia Pacific.
Hotel Jen aims to bring an intuitive service attitude and relaxed, friendly style to Shangri-La’s diverse collection of Traders Hotels and new mid-range hotels situated in the best locations in Asia Pacific. Catering to a new ‘Jeneration’ of independently minded business and leisure travellers, the brand will launch quickly with ten Hotel Jens opening in major cities across Asia Pacific before March 2015.
In the first wave, FleishmanHillard launched Hotel Jen Orchardgateway in Singapore on September 15, Hotel Jen Cuscaden Singapore on September 25 and Hotel Jen Hong Kong on 6 October, of which the welcome party took place on October 9 2014.
Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore was the first hotel in the major initiative that will see Hotel Jen launched across the region including Hong Kong, Penang, Johor Bahru, Manila, Maldives, Beijing and Shenyang. FleishmanHillard’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices have developed a comprehensive communications programme to raise awareness of Hotel Jen and build understanding of the Hotel Jen brand persona.
