On December 7, 2016, FleishmanHillard Hong Kong hosted a breakfast event to discuss the changing nature of the cyber security landscape, and how businesses can best prepare for a cyber-attack.

With a recent PwC report finding that the number of information security incidents affecting companies in Hong Kong and mainland China has increased over 900% in the past 2 years, it’s critical that businesses in the region have the right processes in place to respond to a data breach. This involves not just ensuring business continuity during the immediate crisis, but also protecting a company’s reputation in the long term.

During the panel discussion, experts at FleishmanHillard and Control Risks shared their views on how to manage the growing threat from cyber criminals, such as ensuring an integrated crisis response across operations and communications.
